Pranai is a Principal at Churchill and a member of the Origination team, focused on the firm’s Senior Lending strategy. In his role, he is focused on sourcing deals and building relationships with U.S. West Coast private equity sponsors.

Prior to joining Churchill in 2023, he was a Principal at The Carlyle Group, responsible for sourcing deals and managing relationships with private equity firms, as well as leading the underwriting, structuring, and execution of debt financings. Prior to his time at Carlyle, Pranai held similar positions at Summit Partners and BNP Paribas.

Pranai graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in Quantitative Economics and Mathematics.
